It was a pleasure meeting Kelly and Matt Moreau and their family for the April cover of Stroll South of Broad. We met in their home for the session, which created a relaxed and welcoming setting from the very beginning.

Kelly and Matt are the owners of Butter & Crumb Pie Company, and they brought along a selection of their pies and cookies for the shoot—each one as beautiful as it was delicious. Their creations truly felt like works of art, adding a special and personal touch to the images.

Originally from Baltimore, they started their business in 2022 before relocating to Charleston in 2024, where they continue to grow and build their dream. Hearing their story while photographing them made the experience even more meaningful.

I loved capturing their family, their passion, and the care they put into their craft—and yes, I was lucky enough to try a cookie and a slice of pie… it was amazing.
